Match and learn: fruits and vegetables

Underneath each square is a picture. How quickly can you find the pairs?

Avocado: Avocado is often mistaken for a vegetable because we eat it like a salad vegetable, but it is actually a fruit. They are a good source of essential fats (the good ones).
Banana: Bananas are a great source of energy and contain lots of vitamins and minerals, like potassium, which is important to help cells, nerves and muscles in your body to work properly.
Beetroot: Beetroot is the root of the beet plant - which explains its name! Raw beetroot is best for you and great for grating - peel it first. Try it in a salad or sandwich.
Butternut squash: Butternut squash can be roasted, pureed or mashed. It is a good source of beta-carotene, which gives the flesh its bright orange colour.

Congratulations!

You found all the matching pairs!
