Fruity Friday is an annual fundraising and awareness campaign, organised by World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK), which this year took place on 17 May 2013.
It's easy: simply wear yellow, go bananas and donate £2!

Cancer Prevention Week, the annual awareness and fundraising week organised by World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK), promotes the message that cancer is a largely preventable disease.

Under the Government's Gift Aid Scheme, if you are a UK taxpayer WCRF UK will receive an extra quarter on all donations you make. The scheme, set up in April 2000, means that if you are a UK taxpayer any donation you make to WCRF UK upon which tax has been paid can be worth more to us. For example, if you give £10 to WCRF UK and Gift Aid your donation, we will receive £2.50 from the Inland Revenue at no extra cost to you.
