'Just one more'

When we mention ‘just one more’, we are referring to a simple step you can
take towards reducing your cancer risk, by eating ‘just one more’ portion of fruits
or vegetables this Fruity Friday. We should all be aiming for at least 5 A DAY.

On average children currently eat only three portions of vegetables and fruits a day,
and adults only eat around four portions a day (Department of Health), so on
Fruity Friday, let’s all aim to have ‘just one more’!

Download our Fruity factsheet or watch our 'just one more' video for simple suggestions to boost your vegetable and fruit intake and make sure you’re well on your way to 5 A DAY!

Join our 'just one more' social media campaign

Fruit Friday takes place on 17 May during Cancer Prevention Week and World Cancer Research Fund is encouraging healthier eating by asking people to eat ‘just one more’ piece of fruit in the lead up to the event.

Help raise awareness about cancer prevention by posting or tweeting two words that describe of the taste and texture of your ‘just one more’ with the #fruityfriday hashtag, e.g. “sweet and knobbly #fruityfriday” for blackberries. Be creative – we want to keep people guessing.

Please forward this message to your friends as a private message but don’t post it.
